Social Change Networking Event - 'Together with Young People'
Guest Speaker - Tammy Banks
A series of exciting networking events set to explore a range of topics, supporting each other when tackling system change for the better of young people.
Our frontline services were at breaking point before the pandemic and cost of living crisis. These services are now stretched even further with the most vulnerable in our society being adversely affected because professionals are struggling with increasing caseloads, competing objectives, austerity measures and often their own mental health.
Tammy’s talk takes us back to our own personal journey and values. Tammy uses her story of success despite adversity to highlight the small actions of others that helped her move from being powerless to powerful. She talks about vicarious trauma, relative privilege and the power of individuals and organisations to change lives.
Tammy's talk is inspirational, motivational and action based. There will be opportunity for you to consider your own personal needs, professional practice and recognise the impact you are already making.
